Brief Description
A metallic letter opener [broken, in 2 parts]. The head of the opener is shaped in the design of a flaming torch, flanked by two crossed victory palms. In front is the Olympic rings emblem, with two banners below. Inscriptions on the banners read: 'MELBOURNE' AND '1956', respectively.
