Brief Description
Bronze medal from the 1956 Olympic Games. Obverse shows a kangaroo popping through one of the olympic rings. Beneath is a quartered shield with images of a whale, a sheep, cattle and a ship and a crown in the centre. Reverse shows athletes walking around the rim, one holds an olympic flag. In the centre, around the flag are words "CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS".
