Brief Description
Medal awarded to Peter Antonie, Coach of the Carey Grammar Firsts Rowing Team. The medal features an image of a rower in the foreground and a team of rowers, partly obscured, in the background. Cast text reads 'HEAD OF THE RIVER'. Engraved lettering reads '1st/ CREW', ' P.J. Antonie Esq/ COACH', and the year '1986'. The reverse features the school emblem - an athlete and torch on a shield and Latin motto - and stamped lettering around the edge 'CAREY/ BAPTIST GRAMMAR SCHOOL'. A suspension ring for a ribbon is attached to the top.
