Brief Description
Octagonal, glazed, ceramic plate, features a kangaroo and crown surrounded by a gold, rectangular-link chain. Black text above reads, "AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH GAMES ASSOCIATION". Below sprays of wattle, text reads 'Golden Wattle' and 'EDINBURGH 1986'. Images of each state and territory flower, the name of the flower and state, are displayed along the eight edges of the plate. Printed text on the base of the plate reads, "XIII COMMONWEALTH GAMES / This limited edition plate / is issued to commemorate / The XIII Commonwealth Games / Edinburgh 1986. / This plate is one of only 200 / produced for world-wide / distribution. / Plate No. 0150".
