Brief Description
Gold coloured rectangular badge with plastic ribbon, worn by an I.O.C. official at the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games. Badge features 1968 Olympic Games emblem, comprising stylised number '68' with Olympic rings and dove in flight. Band of blue enamel at top with 'MEXICO' in raised gold letters and 'C.O.I.' (Spanish: "Comite Olympic Internacional" trans. "International Olympic Committee"), in raised gold letters and blue enamel at lower end. Plastic ribbon with 5 vertical bands, blue, yellow, black, green and red. Back of badge has pin with safety catch. 'PRODCUTOS VICTOR S.A.' raised letter at lower end of metal badge. Ribbon has printing in white.
