Brief Description
Singlet and label; singlet worn by Percy Cerutty, white, cotton; "MALVERN / H / VM" and eight pointed star with image of a fence, hand-drawn in black ink on front; "407" on large white patch sewn onto back; purple satin trim at neck and arm holes. Small handwritten label written by Cerutty reads: "SINGLET IN WHICH I RAN / NATIVE VICTORIAN MARATHON / RECORD, & other VICTORIAN & / AUSTRALIAN BEST TIMES."; black ink on cream paper.
