Object Detail

Brief Description
Cricket cap made by Albion C&D. Green woollen cap with yellow and red stripes. Embroidered on front is the Australian coat of arms and text, "AUSTRALIA". This cap was produced as a prototype by Albion, and was intended to commemorate the first Australia v Bangladesh Test match, in 2003. The cap was manufactured with the striped material used to construct the Australian Test team blazers at the time. There was only enough material to construct one trial cap, and the ACB did not go ahead with producing caps to distribute to the playing group.
