Brief Description
An epee dating to the late 19th century. It is made entirely of metal. Soldered onto, and protruding sideways from the hand guard, and flanking the blade, are two serpentine, ornamental metallic attachments. The handle has red painted string coiled around, and adhered to it, for grip. The end of the hollow handle is rounded off by a wooden plug, also painted red.
