Brief Description
A yellow cloth covered prospectus entitled, on the cover page: BRITISH EMPIRE/AND COMMONWEALTH/GAMES-1962. At the centre of the cover is a circular brown leather patch featuring the City of Adelaide coat-of-arms. This publication was a formal application to the parent body of the British Empire & Commonwealth Games Association, confirming Adelaide's bid for the 1962 BE&C Games. The 1962 Games were eventually awarded to and held in Perth, Western Australia.
