Costume; worn by Margaret St John at the age of 15, as part of the Children's Gymnastics Display held for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip at the MCG on 4 March 1954. Comprises blue dress with red and white cotton stripes sewn onto lower skirt, red sash (worn wound around waist, and used for maypole), and blue headband.
