Brief Description
Medal won by Ivan Stedman for second place in a 100 yards breast stroke swim at the V.A.S.A. competition in 1927-28. Medal is bronze and bears a blue enamelled shield with the Southern Cross. It is surmounted by a crown and surrounded by a laurel wreath. Text in legend reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features wreath surrounding text that reads "AWARDED TO / I. STEDMAN. / 2ND / BREAST STROKE. / 100 Yards. / 1927-8".
