Brief Description
Order of Australia (OAM) medal awarded to Cliff Young (runner) by the Governor General on 26th January, 1984 for long distance running. The OAM includes four parts, the first a brass medal (insignia) with a radial pattern and central wreath with text that reads "AUSTRALIA". Inscription on reverse reads "Albert / Ernest / Clifford / YOUNG". It is suspended from a blue ribbon with small yellow radial circles and pin attachment on reverse. There is also a miniature version of this medal and ribbon. In addition to this is a blue ribbon bar pin with the same blue and yellow pattern and a small lapel badge that has the same radial design as the larger medal.
