Brief Description
Gold medal won by Ivan Stedman for 1st place in a 220 Yards Breast Stroke swim on 25th January, 1927. Obverse features floral detail surrounding coloured enamel shield bearing the badges of each Australian state. Text in legend reads "AUSTRALIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP". Reverse features inscription that reads "BREAST STROKE / 220 YDS / WON BY / IVAN STEDMAN / 25-1-1927". Suspension ring at top.
