Brief Description
Gold medal won by Ivan Stedman for first place in a 100 yards swim in 1926. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads, "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription around edge reads, "100 YDS CHAMPIONSHIP / 1926 / TIME 59 ½ SECS / IVAN STEDMAN MELBOURNE S.C.". Decorative suspension ring at top.
