Gold medal won by Ivan Stedman for first place in a 100 yards breast stroke swim in 1926. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription around edge reads "100 YDS Breast Stroke Championship / 1926 / TIME 1 Min 17 Secs / IVAN STEDMAN Melbourne S.C.". Decorative suspension ring at top.
