Brief Description
Silver medal won by Ivan Stedman for second place in a 220 yards swim in 1923-24. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram. Inscription around edge reads "220 Yds. Championship / 1923 1924. / I. STEADMAN [sic] / 2ND. Melbourne S.C.". Decorative suspension ring at top.
