Brief Description
Oblong gold medal with suspension ring won by Ivan Stedman for first place in the men's 200 yards breast stroke in Hawaii on 28 May 1921. Obverse features a low relief map of Hawaii and text that reads "HAWAIIAN ISLANDS / AAU". It is surrounded by a border with text that reads "MAY SWIMMING MEET / HONOLULU HARBOR 1921". Reverse inscription reads "200 YDS. BREAST STROKE / FOR MEN / FIRST / IVAN STEDMAN / TIME 2 MIN. 53 SEC. / MAY 28, 1921.".
