Brief Description
Oblong gold medal with suspension ring won by Ivan Stedman for 1st place in the Men's 100 Yards Breast stroke in Hawaii on 27th May, 1921. Obverse features a low relief map of Hawaii and text that reads "HAWAIIAN ISLANDS / AAU". It is surrounded by a border with text that reads "MAY SWIMMING MEET / HONOLULU HARBOR 1921". Reverse inscription reads "100 YDS BREAST STROKE / FOR MEN / FIRST / IVAN STEDMAN / TIME 1 MIN. 17 SEC. / MAY 27, 1921.".
