Brief Description
Gold medal won by Ivan Stedman for first place in the A.S.U.A. 100 yards freestyle swim in 1921. Obverse features Australian coat of arms surrounded by text in legend that reads, "AUSTRALIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription on reverse reads, "A.S.U.A. / 100 YDS FREE STYLE / CHP. AUS. / 1ST AUSTRALIAN / I. STEDMAN / 1921". Crown at top with suspension ring.
