Gold medal won by Ivan Stedman for first place in a 100 yards swim in 1920-21. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription around edge reads "100 yards / Championship / of Victoria / 1920-21 / Won By / I. STEDMAN. / M.S.C. / 58 sec.". Decorative suspension ring at top.
