Brief Description
Oval-shaped medal won by Ivan Stedman for 1st place in the 100 Yards Open Swim and 55 Yards Under 16 Swim at the Private Swimming Schools Sports in 1910. Features black and white enamel border surrounding central shield depicting three figures swimming. Text in legend reads "PRIVATE SWIMMING SCHOOLS / SPORTS. Reverse inscription reads "100 YDS. OPEN. 55YDS. UNDER 16. / Won by / J. STEDMAN [sic] / 1910.". Loop attachment at top.
