Brief Description
Ink caricature of a man with glasses (Mick Gray, manager of 1948 Australian Olympic cycling team) pedalling a pennyfarthing bicycle through water, in the direction of a sign pointing to 'Blighty'. He wears a blue t-shirt with the Australian coat of arms, and has camping gear on his back. A seagull to the right has a speech bubble, reads, "Best of luck, Mick!". Cartoon is signed 'Wells' in bottom RH corner. Printed in 'The Globe' newspaper, 2 June 1948.
