Brief Description
A plain, brown leather suitcase, with metal locking clasps and handle. Suitcase was used by Doris Carter during the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. Carter performed in High Jump, and was Australia's first female Olympic field athlete. Carter's initials 'D.J.C.' are impressed in gold across the top of the lid.
