Object Detail

Brief Description
A souvenir sportsman pennant possibly issued by the USSR Government. Rectangular hanging pennant of red satin with red and gold cord and tassels. Featuring painted emblem of the USSR at the centre followed by an inscription in gold Cyrillic lettering which reads: "OT/SOVETSKIKH/SPORTSMENOV". This roughly translates as 'Soviet Sportsmen'.
