Brief Description
Lawn bowls, compound plastic, set of four, with bag. Three bowls are brown, one is black; all made by F J Griffiths (circa 1932), cream coloured discs in each end feature an 'hour-glass design', surrounded by small inscribed marks in the shape of Australia, with letters and numerals within. Bag is reddish-brown textured leather, two handles, leather and brass clasp; purple, yellow and white checked flannelette lining; wide leather straps attached with studs, to hold bowls in place (circa 1944).
