Black and white copy photograph featuring Opening Day at Victoria Bowling Green, October 14th, 1876. A large group of men, women and some children are gathered in front of the premises before the green and a man is standing on the roof. Ten men are seated on the platform next to the green and six bowls are scattered in front of them. There are two Union Jacks at the left and right rear. Inscription, on roof of building to the right, "[illeg.] ETTLETON/[illeg.] TOGRAPHER/APPOINTMENT"; reverse, stamped in blue ink, "HENK REM PHOTOGRAPHIES......Copy 4147".
