Brief Description
Trophy; Victorian Athlete of the Year Award, presented to Ron Clarke in 1964. Statuette of stylised nude male figure of cast metal, holding branch of leaves by his side in right hand, head turned to left; green patina over figure. Mounted on square wooden base with metal plaque on front which reads "Victorian / Athlete of the Year / 1964 / R. W. Clarke / 10,000 Metres Run".
