Brief Description
Black and white, sepia toned, photograph adhered to light grey card with dark grey linear edge, featuring a lacrosse team posing formally before a dwelling with staircase at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Sixteen men comprising players and two officials, are organised into two rows seated and standing. Team are wearing long sleeved jumpers with light coloured 'v' at neck and "S A" inscribed on chest. Signatures of the team are inscribed on lower mount and include "L.J. Hewitson". The photograph has no title and the date is uncertain but probably 1936 - 38.
