Brief Description
Black and white studio photograph with sepia tones, mounted on cardboard featuring the Victorian Lacrosse Team of 1923 in Brisbane. Sixteen players are seated or standing in three rows dressed in formal suits with all but two wearing boaters. They are grouped before an elaborate curtained backdrop. Inscription on front, handwritten in black ink,"Queensland"; on reverse, handwritten in black ink, "VICTORIAN TEAM - BRISBANE 1923".
