Brief Description
Black and white photograph with sepia tones mounted on grey card featuring a number of formally dressed men including the Essendon Lacrosse Team receiving a shield in a club dining room on Presentation Night. The players are wearing suits, stiff collars and ties and standing behind them are men wearing formal dinner suits. The room is draped with flags, decorations and hanging lanterns. A large shield mounted on wood is at the foreground. Inscription on white label on reverse, handwritten in black ink, "PRESENTATION NIGHT. VIC. LAC. ASS. / SHIELD TO ESSENDON DATE UNKNOWN".
