Brief Description
Black and white action shot during the Brisbane Lacrosse Carnival of 1939 featuring Western Australia competing against New South Wales. The photograph is mounted on a cream board and depicts players at the goal mouth. Trees and dwellings form the backdrop across the field. Inscription on lower edge of mount, "W.A. FORWARD CHOPPED / OFF AT THE KNEES".
