Brief Description
Black and white action shot during the Brisbane Lacrosse Carnival of 1939 featuring Western Australia competing against Victoria. The photograph is mounted on a cream board and depicts players at the goal mouth. Trees and dwellings form the backdrop across the field. Inscription on lower edge of mount, "GOAL MOUTH TUSSLE / FREE ARM & CROSS CHECK". Verso in pencil: "18 Stone Jim Reid checks / C. Ewers".
