Brief Description
Black and white photo of a lacrosse team, in wooden frame, stuck on grey mountboard. Photo is of 14 players in uniform in three rows, with crossed lacrosse sticks in front of them. Handwritten heading reads, "Australian and International / Lacrosse Carnival / 1959". Underneath the photo is written in black ink 'Victorian Colts', with a listing of players underneath as follows, "BACK: F. Jones, R. Spriggs, F. Trainor, N. Marr; CENTRE: B.McDonald, L. Titter, N. Wright, B. Downer, L. Owen, R. Graham; FRONT: T. Allington (Coach), B. Wilkinson, L. Ingram (Capt), J. Morrish (V. Capt), G. Hill, P. Shappere (Manager).". On the reverse is a label, "Twites, Art / Picture Framers / W. Edmonston / 321 Smith Street, Fitzroy /Tel. 41 4083".
