Brief Description
Black and white photograph of the South Australian Lacrosse Team posing on the ground before a large tiered seating area full of spectators. The seventeen players and two officials are seated or standing in three rows with one player sitting on the grass at centre front. The players are wearing jumpers with two different coloured stripes around the 'v' neck and the initials 'S A' at each side. Inscription on reverse, handwritten in black ink, "SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STATE TEAM / IN MELB 1959".
