Brief Description
Metal replica Greek amphora patterned in bronze, white and black designs including figures in horse drawn chariots. The two handles on the neck are patterned with black and white diagonal lines and spots. Interior of vase is black with white flower pattern on inside rim. Inscription on a brass plate is fixed to handles at the neck by two fine gold chains, engraved "A.I.P.S./ THE GREEK SPORTS WRITERS /To/THE SPORTSMAN OF 1965". Written on base in white paint, "HAND MADE/ IN GREECE/800 B.C.".
