Brief Description
Round badge of gold-coloured metal. Centre is red, with two streamlined gold running figures to left and the 1980 Moscow Olympics emblem to right, both in gold. This is surrounded by a black ring with Russian text and a red star with hammer and sickle at bottom. Outer edge of badge is gold and is fluted in radiating lines. Inscription: GOTOV K TRUDU I OBORONE SSSR.
