Brief Description
A pentagonal, enamelled metallic badge. Gold-coloured badge features a black frame, with the Russian inscription: SOVREMENNOE/PJATIBOR'E/MOSKVA 80 (trans. 'Modern Pentathlon, Moscow '80'). Within the frame is a raised golden pentagon, containing a circular blue field featuring a raised swimming symbol. The 200-metre Freestyle is one of the five disciplines in the Modern Pentathlon.
