Brief Description
An oval, enamelled gold badge. Upper section features a basketball symbol upon a blue field. Russian inscription across the top reads BASKETBOL (i.e. basketball), followed by OLIMPIADA 80 across the red band dividing the upper section from the lower. The lower section features the Olympic Rings emblem, upon a yellow field, with blue enamel and raised gold stripes bordering below.
