Brief Description
Hardback book titled, "WITH BAT / AND BALL", by George Giffen. Title and author details printed in gold along the spine. The cover is of red cloth with black leather spine and corners, with a gold inscription in the centre that has faded and become illegible. The inside cover features a presentation label bearing the inscription, in part, "Ballarat S.S. Junior C.C. Association / Trophy, 1897-8 / WON BY / GOLDEN POINT W.S.S.C.". The book is described on the front page, reads, "TWENTY-FIVE YEARS / REMINISCENCES / OF / AUSTRALIAN AND ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN / CRICKET", and features numerous illustrative black and white photographs interspersed amongst the text.
