Brief Description
Bronze statuette on base. Titled: "VIGILANCE & SERVICE" Features figure of a male life saver wearing swimming costume, cap and harness. Standing erect with right arm bent and hand shielding face; left hand by his side. Behind is a reel and stand. Text on reel reads: "S. L. S. A. /AUSTRALIA". A section of fine wire cable hangs from the man's harness.
