Brief Description
A black and white photo postcard of Hawaiian U.S. swimming champion, Paoa 'Duke' Kahanamoku, with the text in French, at the upper right corner: 'KAHANAMOKU/ETATS-UNIS'. Handwritten notes by Australian swimmer, Frank Beaurepaire, feature on the back. Image taken at the Piscine Georges-Vallerey, Port de Lilas, Paris, during the swimming events at the 1924 Olympic Games.
