A blue certificate featuring a design comprising of two male swimmers, (with another laying on the river bank), on their marks and about to jump in the water to race for a laurel wreath, held out by a goddess on a winged wheel at the other end. Text, in part: 'CERTIFICATE/VICTORIAN AMATEUR/SWIMMING ASSOCIATION/THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT/F.
