Brief Description
A Royal Lifesaving Medal presented to Les Harley. The medal features a six-point star on a circular background framed by laurels, a blue enamel centre, and white enamelled circlet with lettering that reads 'ROYAL LIFE SAVING/SOCIETY'. The reverse is engraved 'L. Harley/ 1976'. The medal is suspended from a pale blue, dark blue and white striped ribbed-silk ribbon with a metal crown pin, attached to a separate blue ribbon, and a blue enamelled award panel bearing lettering 'R.L.S.S.' and pin clasp.
