Brief Description
A bronze medal, with suspension ring, awarded to Les Harley by the Royal Life Saving Society. The medal features an image, stamped in relief, of a swimmer being supported in the water by another swimmer. Lettering in the border panel reads 'ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY/ ESTABLISHED 1891'. Text on the reverse reads 'AWARDED TO/ L. HARLEY/ 1937[?]', and - in the border panel -'QUEMCUNQUE MISERUM VIDERIS HOMINEM SCIAS'.
