Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for 1st place in a 220 Yards swim in 1923-24. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A monogram and inscription reads "220 yds. Championship / 1923-1924 / Time. 2m30 2/5s. / Won by / F.E. BEAUREPAIRE Melbourne S.C.". Decorative loop attachment at top.
