Brief Description
Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for 1st place in a 880 Yards swim in 1922-23. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription reads "880 yds Championship. / 1922-23 / Time 12m40 s / Won by / F.E. BEAUREPAIRE Melbourne S.C.". Decorative loop attachment at top.
