Brief Description
Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for 1st place in a 1 Mile swim on 17th February, 1909. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription that reads "1 Mile Championship / 17-2-09 / Won by / F. BEAUREPAIRE Time 24m33s.". Decorative loop attachment at top.
