Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for 1st place in the A.S.A. 1 Mile Freestyle event in England in 1910. Obverse features English shield surrounded by a scrolled border with floral detail and text that reads "AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Inscription on reverse surrounded laurel crown reads "1910 / MILE / CHAMPIONSHIP / 1ST PRIZE / WON BY / FRANK / BEAUREPAIRE".
