Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for 1st place in the A.S.A. 440 Yards Saltwater swim in England, 1908. Obverse features English shield surrounded by a scrolled border with floral detail and text that reads "AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Inscription on reverse surrounded by laurel wreath reads "1908 / 440 YARDS / SALT WATER / CHAMPIONSHIP / 1ST PRIZE / WON BY / [blank]".
