Brief Description
Oblong-shaped gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire (swimmer) for 1st place in a 500 metre swimming event at Charlottenburg, Germany on 5th June, 1910. Obverse features a low relief image of a swimmer surmounted by two shields set against a wreath. Text at lower edge reads "CHARLOTTENBURG / SCHWIMM-VEREIN / VON 1887". Inscription on reverse reads "Hauptschw. / 500 m. / I.Pr. / 5.6.1910.". Loop attachment at top.
